Tameran's ImagePrep software application, packaged with the CS500, facilitates the viewing, clean up, editing, indexing and quality review of scanned aperture cards. ImagePrep's myriad of powerful image processing tools can be applied to an entire image or sections of an image. Tools available include rotate, deskew, despeckle, cut, crop, scale, invert, mirror, stamping, watermarking and more. ImagePrep's Image Viewing function allows you to quickly and accurately review folders of images with just one mouse click.
Even if your cards don't have hollerith punch data or data that is in a consistent or predictable format, you want your corresponding information to make sense. Automated file names that are created by scanners such as 001, 002, and 003 don't provide much help, particularly when those names are regenerated day after day after day.
