Even if your cards are, shall we say, not the best quality, don't lose any sleep! With the 750's custom imaging templates, those bad cards are just bumps in the road not mountains to scale. Click the mouse on the custom setting icon, choose your custom setting, and your most challenging cards are now just a slight detour. So easy even non-techno wizards aren't challenged by poor quality images. You might even run the scanner in your sleep.
Eliminate the time consuming scan, view and rescan pattern that limits productivity. With our multi-scan option, cards are scanned in batch mode (up to 500 cards at a time) in up to five preset advanced imaging templates for quick and optimal scanning of an image. After scanning is complete, the image sets can be browsed for quick selection of the quality desired.
While other scanners require operators to learn “pixel math” or other complicated schemes in order to produce images that are centered and scanned at the correct magnification ratio, the CS750 accomplishes these tasks with a unique framing tool that is so easy to use you'll think you're playing a video game.
A unique DMP (Demand Microfilm Print) operator interface makes choosing whether to scan to file, scan to print, or scan to view then print a simple task. The uncomplicated screen display makes it easy for anyone to get exactly what they need when they need it.

Tameran's ImagePrep Plus software application is packaged with the CS750 to facilitate the clean up, editing and indexing of scanned aperture cards. ImagePrep Plus's myriad of powerful image processing tools can be applied to an entire image or sections of an image. Tools available include deskew, auto deskew, despeckle, cut, auto cut, line thinning, customize resolution, customize image size, stamping, watermarking, raster editing and more.
Even if your cards don't have hollerith punch data or data that is in a consistent or predictable format, you want your corresponding information to make sense. Automated file names that are created by scanners such as 001, 002, and 003 don't provide much help, particularly when those names are regenerated day after day after day. Before you know it, digital chaos is in control. With ImagePrep Plus, indexing of your images quickly makes order out of chaos. The ImagePrep Plus “toolkit” includes everything necessary to produce professional, high-quality, ready-to-use images as well as to maintain a successful digital document storage and distribution system. Also, you can optionally scan to PDF making distribution of your documents one step easier.
