Tameran’s Proof of Concept was initiated in response to our experience with many customers who desired to develop an accurate statement of work before embarking on a system process change that required the expenditure of funds or committing to a level of operating expenses that could not be defined initially to a degree of certainty.

Our Proof of Concept program was developed as a way to provide you with a definitive statement of work as well as a test to prove the proposed new system and processes. The Tameran Proof of Concept program allows us to separate our solution implementation from the start up phase of a project and insert it into the sales process, thereby providing you a way to “prove the concept.” By identifying all the unknown issues ahead of time, there are no surprises. The result for you is a firm statement of work and a tangible demonstration of the proposed solution.

Since we have started this program, we have found our customers have embraced the concept. They have recognized that they can reduce their risk in implementing a solution for a very nominal cost. In fact, if you implement the solution, you have incurred no additional cost since 100% of the Proof of Concept Fee is fully credited against any solution implementation or set up fee.

Here’s what is included in our Proof of Concept:

  • Identification of all input formats, work processes, and sample output from your data
  • A demonstration of the proposed solution using your data
  • A statement of work that includes a fixed price quote
  • A graphic presentation of the proposed work processes and work flows
  • An implementation plan and schedule

If you have other requirements that arise during the Proof of Concept, these will be documented and Tameran will develop a demonstration to prove the solution as well as document the cost.

How does it work?
To get started, Tameran charges a nominal up front fee for a Proof of Concept. This amount is 100% credited towards the solution “Implementation Fee” or “Set Up Fee”. You simply provide us with a credit card to cover the cost of the Proof of Concept. If you prefer, you can provide Tameran with a purchase order authorizing the cost of the Proof of Concept—you choose the method that will work best in your situation.

Tameran will assign an application engineer to the project. The application engineer will schedule an information gathering session with your company to document your current processes, define the new processes and ask pertinent questions regarding data input and output, turnaround requirements and labor capabilities. This process takes approximately two days at your facility. During this time we will also gather data for demonstration and sampling.

Approximately three weeks later, a demonstration and presentation are scheduled at your facility. During this process, a baseline of the current system and processes are defined. Using this for reference, together we set forth what the new baseline will be and look at your financial return on investment.

Why our customers have embraced Tameran’s Proof of Concept:

  • All variables are defined in advance
  • The solution is not a hypothetical concept. It is a documented proven solution with definable fixed costs
  • No hidden format problems, image quality problems, workflow constraints, or undefined variables that can negatively impact the implementation or cost justification
  • A proven sampling to assure critical execution when in production
  • The elimination of risk associated with the unknown, undocumented and most importantly, untried
  • You know exactly what to expect from Tameran and our products and services and what your financial obligation will be

While some companies have built their business on charging large dollar amounts for “professional services” after closing the deal, at Tameran, we believe that providing you with a Proof of Concept is a powerful methodology to make sure you meet your business solution expectations. Our result is that we have helped you achieve success for yourself and your organization. That means success for us.
